Railroads are not only a fascinating hobby for many, but they offer many insights into the past. Towns often develop along railroads to enable transportation of both people and trade goods. Model railroading provides a glimpse of history through its selection of types of buildings, trains, and landscapes. It is a museum diorama on a large scale, but often unknown by the public. Our aim is to create a film for public distribution that engages thought about why this hobby is so popular, and also to provide a glimpse into the past to the public.
